Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

When you use AliData, we collect the following types of information:

  • Account information — your email address and password hash, used for authentication.
  • Store data — product listings, keyword rankings, market metrics, and other data you import or that we fetch from Alibaba on your behalf.
  • Usage analytics — pages visited, features used, and session duration. We do not use third-party trackers.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the AliData service.
  • Generate diagnostic reports, keyword analysis, and market insights for your store.
  • Send transactional emails (account verification, password resets) via Resend.
  • Understand aggregate usage patterns to improve the product.

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored on Cloudflare infrastructure:

  • Cloudflare R2 — raw store data (product listings, market data, keyword reports).
  • Cloudflare D1 — user accounts and application configuration.

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We do not store data on personal devices unless you explicitly use the desktop app’s local mode.

4. Third-Party Services

We share data with the following third parties, strictly to operate the service:

  • Cloudflare — hosting, storage, CDN, and DNS.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

5. Cookies

AliData uses a single HTTP-only cookie to store your authentication token. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your account data and store diagnostics for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of all your data at any time by contacting us. Upon receiving a deletion request, we will remove your data within 30 days.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the application.
